Hi all, hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

I was driving my 2013 F-150 FX4 3.5 EcoBoost when it suddenly stalled. When it did, the CEL, engine coolant temp warning, and hill descent control lights all came on at the same time. I disconnected the battery and let it sit for a bit, then reconnected it to get it home — but now it won’t start at all.

What I’ve checked so far:

•	Fuses and connections under the hood and in the passenger side fuse box — nothing obvious

•	Tried reading codes with an OBD-II scanner — it can’t find a VIN.

One other weird symptom: the dashboard stays fully lit up even with the truck off and doors closed. The only way to get it to turn off is to disconnect the battery.

Recent repair history: About a month ago I had the transmission lead frame fully replaced. Truck drove completely fine for weeks after that before this happened.

I’m thinking this is electrical — the VIN unavailable error especially makes me think the PCM isn’t communicating or something is shorting out. Any ideas what could cause this and what I should check or fix?
