It's hilarious how you all told on yourselves last night

One bad photoshop of a comic panel gets posted, and you all immediately start cheering about how "the blob feet are gone, toe beans are canon now".

*What* toe beans?

The bad edit gave Tails cartoon three-toed feet, *there was zero evidence of carnivoran paw pads on them.*

**But you all are so thirsty for eight year old furry feet with toe beans that you loudly and openly insisted that they were there.**

Heck, one of you repeatedly refused to accept the truth and kept insisting that the crappy photoshop was legit, because your need to deny reality in favor of your furry foot fetish is that strong.

*And none of you can take it back.*

Even if you delete your comments, it's possible for people to retrieve them.

You can't put the mask back on.

I tried to discern a narrative in Wendy/ra_fox's work because I'm bored, here's the result [wendy/ra_fox]

The first thing I noticed was that while Cream is a more mature version of her original self, Tails has undergone a dramatic change in personality. There's a spark he possessed as a child that's missing from his adult self. I think his teenage years went very very badly, and by that I mean he suffered from severely traumatizing mental health issues that resulted in Cream suddenly finding herself in the position of having to save his life. The foundation of their relationship was her helping him to recover, and while he's better than he was before he's still very emotionally fragile and Cream is extremely attentive towards him in the hopes of keeping him from spiraling again.

This has since evolved into her caring for him in general, something he positively responds to and actively seeks out. His desire to be "mothered" by her likely stems from the same place as his mental health issues: a complete lack of parental affection during his formative years which left him with a deep-seated need to be taken care of physically and emotionally. A major example of this is his inability to maintain a healthy sleep schedule on his own, which has lead to Cream staying over at his place more and more frequently.

Tails has developed a dependency on Cream's affection, and while he's extremely alert and attentive to her physical and emotional health he's also paranoid and possessive of her, reacting strongly to even the slightest hint (real or imagined) of her being upset with him and responding with extreme jealousy whenever he perceives an outside threat to their relationship.

The exception to his defensive behavior is Cream's mother Vanilla, who has no issue with him dating her daughter but refuses to allow them to co-habitate despite them both being legal adults.
