Around last week ago I received this cool Gaming Laptop after waiting almost a month for the seller to do the inspection and generate the laptop inspection report and ship it to my place. I agreed with the report results and on to purchase it. So far I did all the basics like double check the conditions, specs, uninstalled any bloatware (which the seller kindly done) and make sure all necessary drivers like the gpu, cpu and others are there.

The best part is that I got it for like a fraction of the original new condition price which is around roughly 1011 USD (3999 MYR based on my country currency). It comes with 16GB DDR4 Samsung ram, but I got these 2 16GB Fury ram that I brought 2 for 61 USD (around 244 MYR) back in early 2025. Thanks to my old laptop only having 1 ram slot, I didn't manage to install the 2nd one and let it collect dust. Now I happily reuse and install both of them in my Legion 7 and now it has 32GB total ram and never in my life I had a laptop with that amount of ram. And yes, I specifically choose this refurbished Legion 7 because I want to reuse my DDR4 rams instead of letting it to waste and gather dust, ontop of that 3080 16GB GPU VRAM.

So what else should I do besides trying to keep an eye on the thermals and make sure the laptop is elevated for better airflow? I'll highly appreciate any 2 cents advice from y'all so that I can keep this Laptop running for years to come before upgrading to a newer model in the future.
