I came across some smaller services like Meest that seem to offer noticeably lower rates, which genuinely surprised me. I hadn't heard of them before but the numbers looked quite different compared to the household names. Has anyone here actually shipped personal items from the US to the UK and compared prices across different carriers? What did you end up paying, and did the final cost match what was quoted upfront - or did extra fees creep in along the way?
