26F. I had my first colonoscopy today and it went great. My biggest fear was being sedated, having a great medical team made the procedure less stressful. Prep was not as bad as I thought it would be thankfully. The solution tasted like soap to me which wasn’t pleasant but it was manageable and I got through the full 4 liters. Waking up I felt very groggy but had no pain. Having a smooth experience has made me less anxious of having to do it again in the future. Anyone that is nervous for the procedure itself, the worst part of it all was the prep.

Currently going through the prep and have my appointment at 12:30 tomorrow. I’m deciding what I want to eat after. What was your first meal?
