Are they mainly trying to preserve the shops, or are they an anti-housing organization? Website is ambiguous on policies they’re advocating, and jumbles a couple separate issues together. Of course everyone wants to preserve our local businesses.

There are a few strategies other cities take to help retailers when buildings are sold or rebuilt - not sure if they’re advocating for those, or just trying to shut down the apartments and mixed-use buildings.
