Baby Rubberplant Help
Hello! I have had this baby rubberplant for around 3 years now- it was given to me after its previous owner left it at work. It had a fungus problem at first(when I first got it), and was severely overwatered, but eventually pulled through.
Due to the overwatering (or idk what they were doing to it) the soil almost completely dried out and it was just a solid brick for quite some time. I meant to repot it but it was always just at my office(I had a great window for it) so it always slipped my mind. I went on maternity leave around 3 weeks ago, and had my husband take this plant home with him from my office. I suspect due to the brick like nature of the soil, it got thrashed around on the way home and almost completely fell out of the pot. So, (maybe unwisely) I repotted with some houseplant soil, and an orchid bark mix (containing perlite, charcoal, peat, and bark). It seems to have bounced back… mostly. It’s growing sideways and can’t support itself. I’ve watered it only once since it’s been repotted. Not sure if I should give it a trim or if it needs more light(by a southwest facing window at the moment, or if I just need to simply prop it up with something.
Sorry if it’s a lot of info, I’ve had lots of trials and tribulations with this particular plant- it’s the plant I know the least about how to take care of, in all honesty. I hope to have it bounce back, please let me know what I’m doing wrong!
