Adopted kitten with scratched eye might have a permanently affected pupil

We adopted two wonderful kittens, from an association. We reserved them while they were still weaning and scheduled to bring them home at 8 weeks. A few days prior to that, we got notified that one of them got scratched while playing with the other kittens (there were three litters growing together, 11 kittens in total); they got her to a vet and she was put on a treatment of daily eyedrops which we continued to administer when we got them (Dexa Tobrom).

A few days after we brought them home we went to the vet as well for a general checkup, and brought up the eye. It was still looking somewhat wonky with a little third eyelid visible, and at times it pointed in slightly different directions from her good eye. The vet instructed us to complete the 14 days treatment and otherwise not to worry.

A week later during a follow up, we told her about the eye again. At this point the third eyelid was less visible, the eyes more coordinated, the pupil dilated symmetrically but it couldn’t constrict nearly as much as the other one. The vet told us she doesn’t need anymore treatment and to leave it be. She confirmed it might stay like this, but since she’s so young she’ll adapt.

I don’t mind the aspect, but I just want her to be comfortable and have a good quality of life. It doesn’t seem to affect her coordination, she’s energetic and can track toys and aim her jumps well. I’m not even sure if it actually affects her vision or if it’s a cause for concern. The other thing I noticed is that she squints a little with that eye when she’s in direct sunlight, likely because the pupil stays somewhat dilated at all times.

This is the general timeline:
20th-ish of February: she was born
15th of April: got the injury at the association and went to the vet there
23th of April: we brought them home
27th of April: we went to our vet with them for the first checkup in our care
29th of April: completed the 14 days of treatment
4th of May: follow up at the vet where we got told everything is fine

General:
- kitten, 11 weeks, not spayed, 1010g, european feline
- eye injury with lasting effects
- Eastern Europe (Romania)
