I am a current junior at a non-target university, I have an internship this summer for a decent sized bank as a commercial banking credit analyst. I want to move up into a more competitive position post grad, like LevFin, capital markets or corporate banking. The bank has positions like this so I know my best chance is recruiting inside the company this summer.
My questions are, is this a bad look for me to my manager, showing that I want a different position, I do not want to insult them, how should I go about this? And when does recruiting for these full time positions open up, does it follow a different time line then internships?
