Hey everyone
We’re a small, family-run deli in Falls Church, VA called Celebrity Delly… and somehow, we just got named a finalist for “Hottest Sandwich Shop of the Year” by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (the RAMMY Awards).
Still processing that one.
This is the same awards group that recognizes some seriously heavy hitters across DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Places we’ve looked up to for years. James Beard winners. Michelin-recognized spots. The whole thing.
And then… there’s us.
A deli that’s been here since 1975, just trying to do things the right way.
We make our meats in-house.
We slice ribeye fresh for every cheesesteak.
We obsessed over our roll so much we literally brought one back from Philly and had it recreated.
We’ve always believed that if you just keep putting out great food, people will notice eventually.
This nomination feels like… maybe they did.
Voting opens April 20 and runs through May 17, and yeah...we’d be lying if we said we didn’t want to win this thing. But honestly, just being included in this conversation already feels surreal.
