When I saw this Coachella performance for the first time, I was completely blown away. Here was the old Madonna I knew, and it was all because of one thing: that smile. There were long stretches when she never smiled in her Instagram posts, so it’s so refreshing to see her like this. And she looks so good! Back in 2021, I watched her VMAs speech and thought, “That can’t be Madonna — she’s some kind of impostor.” But now, the Madonna from the Confessions era is back!!!
