okk so I'm doing MBA rn from a state university. I'm required to do an internship in my 3rd sem. I talked about it at home. and one of my uncles (mama) gave me 2 options. one closer to my house but I won't learn anything. 2nd quite far from my home but I'll actually learn something and if I work there (even if part time) that ca might hire me.
now the thing is he was very derogatory about this entire situation. he said things like "itna samay se bas padh hi rhi ho" then " tumhari jaisi ladkiyan jinhe kuch nhi krna hota. aise hi baithe rehti. toh 1st option mein Chale jana. receptionist ke bagal mein baitha dega. cert mil hi jaayega"
then for 2nd option he said 25-30k ki naukari mil jaayegi. apna Kharcha utha logi. baaki toh kya hi krna hai tumhe zindagi mein.
then asked me what I want to do further and I said data analyst, something with numbers since it's repetitive and practical. that's something that aligns more with me. he replied dimaag kaam hai and said that multiple times. then said iss town mein toh aise jobs hai bhi nhi. Delhi Mumbai bangalore jaana padega. reh paaogi Bahar? (like does every child get a manual on how to live in a different city but I didn't?)
ik I've made some wrong decisions. but I was never a bad student. I've studied from La Martiniere Girls' College that ranks among top10 schools in india. I've got 95 and 93% in classes 10 and 12. after that prepared for neet for 2yrs. couldn't clear it. did bsc. then again took a drop for ssc. couldn't clear it last year. and abhi doing MBA.
but itna kya everybody has the right to be that derogatory to me. I've been a bit lost yes. But nobody has ever given me any guidance ya just even been there toh thoda time toh do to figure things out.
it's not like anybody enjoys being a failure or intentionally fails these exams. aur 25 30k toh I can get by simply being a teacher. aur additional kids ko I can give tuitions. I'll earn better. online part time jobs krlu ya aise hi part time jobs udhar bhi itna mil jaayega.
Mera maternal side is so privileged. they themselves haven't looked at one exam. sabko Bana hua business mil gaya toh kaam kr bhi liya apne liye, apne business ko expand krne ke liye toh kya.
