The needle didn’t really move much on this saga. I think the powers at be have given up on this as the service department doesn’t have the skill and/or knowledge on how to fix it. The blame went to manufacturing for missing steps and shifted to salesmen need to verify the options before using as part of the sales pitch. She still claims that my build sheet says it has it but not much can be done now. She said she put in a request for an OTA patch to give me access to the app (working or not). Could take days to months. She says she will get back to me over time. Still love the truck 5000 miles later so I’m not overly upset. Definitely need to verify options before leaving the dealership but who knew to bring a flash drive. I didn’t even know about the record option until the salesman mentioned it.
