Malice compliance

Disappointed that your local councillor is now a Reform one?
I have a plan, malice compliance.

A councillor is duty bound to do their role, and if they don’t, they will be dismissed, thus leading to a by-election.
The vast majority of those who have stood and won as Reform candidates will have no ambition to do their roles, and will be hoping that they can just cruise through doing little as possible, collecting their allowance along the way.
So here is the plan. Contact your Reform councillor all the time. Any little issue, contact them via email. Follow up the emails, especially if you don’t receive a response. If they follow up with a negative, keep pressing the issue. When they don’t respond or carry out their city, report them.

Go to their surgeries, make sure that they are actually hosting them, and they are accessible. You won’t believe how many will think that they can get away with not holding their monthly surgery. Report them when they don’t. If they host them in venues such as religious venues, report them that it’s not inclusive.
No step free access? Report them.
Keep at it, they’ll eventually either give up their role, or be sacked.

I’m not sure how many people on here have been following the story, but here it goes.

In March last year, a woman’s abusive ex partner stole her 1 year old kitten (Mini) from her home in Stoke. He then dropped her off in a field next to the A1 Chester-Le-Street junction. Initially he wouldn’t say where he had dumped her.

About 2 weeks after she had been dropped off the first and only confirmed sighting of her came in. Since then there have been volunteers from Durham, Newcastle, and Northumberland all trying to search for her. Her owner has used her holidays to come up searching for her, but there were no more sightings of her.

Her owner today has been contacted by a shelter in Bishop Auckland to say that they have taken in over the weekend after being spotted nearby, 28 miles from where she was left and last seen.
She is safe and well, and what’s more, she now has a litter of kittens herself.

I hope everyone enjoy the nice happy ending to the story.
