5 month sleep help!
My babygirl just turned 5 months on Saturday. She sleeps in her crib in her own room overnight and for all naps. She started transitioning from 4 to 3 naps over the past 2 weeks and is pretty much alternating nap days. It feels like everyday is so different and her wake windows are constantly changing. I’m using huckleberry sweet spot predictor to track and predict naps/bedtime. I usually put her in her crib awake and she puts herself to sleep since she was around 4 months old. Today was a 4 nap day as her naps were shorter and her last wake window was 2hrs 15mins. I put her in her crib 10 mins before that and she was calm at first but then started crying and it took about 45 mins for her to fall asleep. I was doing check ins every 5 mins. I’m assuming she was overtired? Or was she undertired? She started getting fussy at the end of bedtime routine. She usually gets herself to sleep in 5-10 min with minimal crying and occasionally it’s 15-20 mins before she’s out. From 3-5 months she pretty much had a false start every night 40 mins into sleeping but for the past week that has stopped and she now wakes up 3 hours after going to bed. Her sleep is driving me crazy… anyone have any insight or tips?
