Bowie was 17 and we had to make the hard decision to send him to Rainbow Bridge today. He has been going downhill for some time, but he was better. So we thought. He always shook after eating, lost his back leg control, lost control of his bowels and bladder, and was having seizures. This morning was especially bad and we could see he was in pain. We knew we had to do it, but my god it was hard. He went peacefully, thankfully. But coming home without him, seeing all his stuff. Smelling him still has just killed us. This is so much harder than we thought , I don't know how to be without him.☹️☹️
