Concert Group - 40+
Hey 👋 We have a concert group on WhatsApp where a bunch of us get together for concerts, live music, retro nights, pub hangs, dancing, and random Toronto events. The group is mainly geared toward people roughly in the 35–55 range, with most of us being in our 40s and 50s.
For a limited time, we’re opening up the group again to bring in some new people who fit the vibe and are looking for others in a similar age range who still genuinely love music, going out, and having fun around the city. 🎶✨
The overall energy is very much people who grew up with — and still love — the music, culture, and nostalgia of the 80s and 90s. Think retro nights, throwback playlists, live music, patios, pub nights, Ground Control, random city adventures, and finding people who still get excited hearing songs from “our era.” 🕺🍻🎧
Music-wise, we’re into all kinds of stuff, but the group definitely leans more Gen X / older millennial — Depeche Mode, Radiohead, The Cure, Oasis, Alanis, New Order, 80s dance, 90s alternative, retro pop, new wave, and plenty of nostalgic randomness mixed in. But honestly, we’re pretty open as long as the vibe is good and people are there to have fun. 🎵
Super low pressure group — no obligation to attend everything, no cliques, no drama. Just welcoming people looking to get out more, meet concert buddies, enjoy the city, and have some fun with others in a similar stage of life.
