My husband and I want to get into Meshcore as a messaging system. While we'd eventually like to go down the DIY rabbit hole and really personalize things, we'd like to start by each getting something premade, portable, and two-way, so we can leave our phones behind and still have a way to message each other if we are separated. People seem to like LilyGo, so I was looking at the T-Lora Pager, the T5 E-paper S3 Pro, or the T-Deck Plus, (all of which are on the main Meshcore website as recommended standalone nodes), but they all have pretty bad reviews? It seems like none of them run well or have a day of battery life. The pager was the most interesting to me, because we're really only looking for messaging, but there are tons of reviews saying the keyboard just falls apart after only a few uses. What standalone nodes have people used and liked, and are reasonably easy to get working?
