At my (M56) recent annual exam my doctor recommended Wegovy stating I met all the criteria:
-pre-diabetic
-overweight
-previous heart attack
-sleep apnea
-regular exercise (4 days at gym)
I submitted a predetermination of coverage to my insurance and just yesterday received the approval.
I generally tolerate medications very well so hoping for minimal side effects.
