All of my friends are doing their exams today I feel so left out 🥲

Of course I didnt like vent to them about it the past few weeks because they've been also stressed out about them but I feel so left out. Will I ever take an exam? Will I ever even get to that level of knowledge? I feel so lazy and it just reminds me how close I am to bring an adult and then i'll never be a teenager again and i'll never get the chance to do teenage stuff again

Looking for advice again because I can't view the sick fish tag 🥲

(I am under 18 so I cant view my own post under the sick fish tag in my country)

Rescued this goldfish from a neglectful owner a few months ago and it had these growths already, its now in clean cycled water with the correct water treatments and filter (algae in the back because the tank was coated in it and I didnt want to remove it all at once and cause chemical spike) I have also been using aquarium salt and doing water changes, but they seem to be staying the same if not worse, the large one on its left side has gone a little redder.

It does not seem to affect or disturb the fish, it still swims around fine and nibbles my fingers when its feeding time 🥹 there is also no ornaments yet as I wanted to keep it sort of plain for healing. I have two long plants in there that the goldfish has eaten overnight 😂 but I have been told that id common for them

Any advice or product recommendations is greatly appreciated!

I also want to say there is no aquatic vet within 6 hours of where I live, and rehoming was not an option as I could not find anyone with suitable equipment or willing to spend time and money on the fish

extra for automod

the tank is 100l (not ideal, it was the tank it came in, I have a 240l on its way)

there are no other animals in the tank

there have been no changes to the tank since I got it, I water change frequently

Any life hacks for getting a 70kg glass fish tank up a slightly diagonal ladder?

Soo I rescued a fish, need a suitable sized tank, the empty tank weighs 70kg and the only space I can fit it in is my bedroom which is in the loft.... I also have the strength of a stick... anything I can use to get it up? I was going to get my stronger brother to sort of push it up and I find someone else to pull it out of the top of the hatch

(fish will not be in the tank 😉)

Identifying growths on a rescue goldfish

Hello! A few months ago I was dogsitting for a neighbor and found their abandoned goldfish in a half full tank under their kitchen stairs with no light or filtration, I asked them if I could take it and they immediately handed it over, told me they were just waiting for it to die :(

I have no prior experience with fishkeeping and I dont have a lot of money, it has been kept in its 100l tank (not suitable i understand, I have been saving for a 240l and will be able to order it in a few weeks)

When i first brought it home I noticed these growths, a large one on its left hand side, a smaller one on its right and some tiny little ones beginning to form. They dont seem to disturb the fishes swimming or behaviour, I used aquarium salt for a little bit and they didnt show any signs of clearing up.

Rehoming or an aquatic vet is unfortunately not an option, the nearest vet willing to look at a goldfish is a 4-5 hour drive and I have looked for someone who can afford equipment and is willing to care for it but i have not found any so far.

It has a filter and food, I change the water, but the growths aren't changing and the larger one has been getting redder and has some little indents in it, which I worry might rupture.

Is there anything else I can do to treat it? Or maybe will I have to use clove oil :(

Thank you for the help and advice

I recently bought a gorgeous fitted tshirt for summer, im usually size s and didnt realise this brand runs a little small. I cant return it but I have a bigger chest and its like a cropped top which I didnt want 🥲 is there any way I can stretch it down? I know you can wash and stretch it when its still wet for cotton but idk about it being half polyester

Hello, I am 16 years old and have not been in school or in any form of education my whole life, I was taught basic grammar and english at 8 years old and fortunately I became obsessed with reading so my grammar and spelling is somewhat ok.

For other subjects I have no clue where to start, I do not have the money for tutoring or online classes so I have been using Oak National Academy and Khan Academy, they are great websites but I feel like im just blindly choosing topics that are unnecessary or that I wont absorb and im really struggling for motivation, i dont know what im supposed to be learning at my age.

I was wondering if any teachers are able to point me to the right topics, any resources? Basic subjects i should learn first, how much of each subject i should do a day.

Im in the UK if that helps, im expected to take my gcses next year but I definitely dont think i will be ready yet

A few months back i rescued a neglected common goldfish from a petsitting client's house, I previously had it in it's original tank (not an ideal size but worked for the few months) because I was in no place to afford more than the food, filter and water treatment/tester, rehoming was also not an option.

I now have enough money saved up for a tank but its still tight, looking online for a suitable tank i can only see the £700+ ones that come with a cabinet attached or fancy bluetooth lights, or ridiculously priced plastic ones from amazon (£400+ for the bare minimum). I have no physical aquarium stores near me and Facebook marketplace is shit.

Does anyone else from the UK know where is best for me to get a tank? A pond/water tote is also not possible as I have no garden or yard
