Where should artists be building their audience in 2026?
I’ve been rethinking how much artists depend on Instagram after recently losing access to my art account.
Maybe I had good luck to get it back but It made me realize how fragile it can feel to have so much of your audience tied to one platform.
I still think Instagram can be useful, but I’m starting to wonder if relying on it as the main place to build my audience is the right thing.
For artists here, are you still putting most of your effort into Instagram, or are you also building on other platforms?
Curious how others are thinking about this.
