I'm either being stupid but I'm hoping to ask a few specific questions which it feels hard to find structured information for anywhere. (If there's a good info source anywhere, please feel free to point me in that direction).

Anyway, got bo7 recently and discovered Endgame and loving it so far. I enjoyed MW3 zombies, so not surprising I'm enjoying this also :)

The main question I have is around weapon affinities. Can someone ELI5:

How do you know what affinity a weapon has?

Is it only exotic weapons dropped in game that have an affinity?

In terms of raw damage, I've probably completely missed it, but exotic weapons in game seem to out-damage a loadout gun I've turned exotic - Is there an extra multiplier on in-game exotics?

For gun skills, do exotic guns have additional skills that boost the affinity?
