Dino spawn troubles
Ive recently gotten back into playing ark again!
Some context incase it's needed, I play solo/host only, and on console, evolved not ascended.
Im playing on Lost Island as it is the most recent thing added for evolved. Ive been having a lot of fun i even missed how terribly the game would function at times.
My current actual issue is with certain creature spawns. The rhynio, carcha, ferox, and now otter are nowhere to be found. Anywhere.
I have run into 1 singular rhynio (it was a male so i couldnt even tame it) and it got bodied by a trio of angry stegos like 5 minutes after i saw it. I have looked up over and over and checked the different spawn locations so many times and nothing. Its a gigantic bug and im not seeing it anywhere (which makes me sad bc it was partly the reason im on the lost island map in the first place)
I have run into the armargasaurus, dinopithecus, and sinomacrops plenty so i see no reason why i cant find another singular rhyino.
Other creature spawn issue im having is the carcha, (i want one so freaking badly omg) and in looking up about it i discovered it shares the spawn with gigas, however gigas have showed up carchas have not. (I tried the console command to kill wild dinos of a certain type in hopes it will end up spawning one)
Ferox ive watched several videos showing me where exactly it spawns in that stupid cave and NOTHING NOT A SINGULAR ONE. Other cave creatures spawn JUST FINE BTW. (The only thing that could be an issue that I can think of, is whenever I start a game I go to the server settings and allow flyers in caves. The past few times ive been in that cave was on one of my flyers, however im not completely sure why that would be an issue since the other cave creatures are spawning.
The otter issue isnt really a big deal i just went to the one little area they spawn on this particular map and i was looking for one for about 30minutes minimum and once i did i went to kill some fish and poof no more otter, i looked for it for over an hour and i just gave up lmao. I will try again another time with the otter because i dont think it is an actual spawning issue like with the others.
