As a complete newbie, I was hoping for some advice.

I don't drive, and I live in an area with limited public transit.

Would it be a bad idea to consider putting a motor on one of my bikes for daily use?

I'd like to build one anyway for fun, but is it practical for commuting 5-10 miles per day a few days a week?

Also would like to be able to go for longer joyrides (20+ miles) maybe a couple times a month.

I live in a mostly flat area. Maybe a couple inclines here and there.

I've read a ton of reviews, googled a million questions, and gone down a couple rabbit holes on here, so I figure it'd just be easier to ask the people with experience.

The Zeta 80 and 85 seem to be popular choices from what I've seen on here.

I have experience working on regular bicycles, but basically zero motor experience.

I'm handy with tools and I follow directions well, but what do I need to know before assembling and installing a kit?

Would the Zeta options work well for my needs, or should I consider other motors?

Any answers and advice are greatly appreciated.
