guys when is ucsd going to release the first wave of waitlist? is it good that it didn't come out on friday? i saw that some people think it could be bc a lot of people are getting off Cal and LA's waitlists and are committing there, but what is the likelihood of that being true? i have been going literally insane waiting for this waitlist ugh. ucsd has been my dream school for like ever and getting waitlisted is better than being rejected, but now im just stuck on it. i just want to hear back so bad, i think i've read every post on here about the waitlist :( i have seen predictions on the portal astrology, but is that true? ucsd if u are listening pls PLS let me in!!

Hi! I was wondering if anyone knows when the first wave of UCSD waitlist is going to come out? I saw that usually they release it the first Friday after May 1st, but if they do that is it only going to be OOS students since they haven't released an OOS wave yet? Also, are there any predictions for the waitlist movement and how many students are going to get off? I have Public Health as my primary major, Global Health as my alternative, and Environmental Chem as my second alternative. If anyone has any insight, I would really appreciate it! I just really want to get off this waitlist :(
