Does anyone else just want to stay frozen in time?

We are waiting on our day 5 blast report today, and as of day 3, we have 2 embryos growing normally, and 3 under observation. This is our first cycle, I’m feeling pretty defeated about only having 5 mature eggs, and I kind of just want to stay frozen in time, because right now we possibly have 5 embies, but in a couple of hours from now we could have none 🥺 what a weird feeling.

Hey everyone!! Our first egg retrieval is in 2 days, ovidrel trigger tonight, and it’s my last day to order from Amazon to get things here by tomorrow for it. Does anyone have any suggestions of things to help me get through? We are out of the country, and our retrieval got pushed back a day because of my follicular growth, so we are now flying out the morning after 😳😳 I do NOT handle abdominal pain well and passed out multiple times during my IUD placement and the saline US was HORRIBLE.

I’m starting a stool softener, I’ve got MiraLAX ready, I have a plug in heating pad, but was wondering if I should buy the battery wearable one (I couldn’t find mine at home to bring). People here say they used it, but Google said ice is better? I just won’t be able to use the plug in one walking through the airport. I have arnica I’ll start the day before, a bunch of electrolyte packets and high protein snacks, pretzels, Ziplocs for ice in the airport if needed, Tylenol, Zofran, ibuprofen.

I have been SO nauseous and have had a hard time eating much with the stim meds, but maybe that will improve after.

Bonus points if you have tips for my husband’s TESE/maybe TESA. We have a jock strap, supportive tight briefs and will get frozen peas.

Thank you so much!! I am so nervous and kind of sad, because he thinks they’ll only get 7-8 mature eggs, and without going into our situation, this may be the only retrieval we can ever do 🥺
