Blizzard Permanently Banned My Overwatch Account After 1–2 Weeks and Keeps Sending Copy-Paste Responses
I honestly don’t even know what to say anymore. I started playing Overwatch 2 around a week or two ago, and now my account has been permanently suspended over accusations that are completely false.
I submitted appeals hoping someone would actually review my case, but instead I keep getting the same robotic responses from different Game Masters.
First I got this from “Game Master Qagenich” claiming my account was involved in:
- “repeated AFK behavior”
- “non-participation”
- “offensive or inappropriate Custom Game names”
- “other actions negatively impacting gameplay”
None of that is true.
Then after appealing again, I received another almost identical response from “Game Master Rairistidru,” except this one added even more accusations:
- “using third party programs”
- “queuing with accounts flagged for cheating”
Again — completely false.
I have NEVER used cheats, third-party programs, or anything remotely close to that. I barely even started playing the game. I don’t AFK matches repeatedly, and I definitely don’t knowingly queue with cheaters.
What makes this even more frustrating is that Blizzard keeps saying they performed a “careful review of relevant evidence,” yet they refuse to show ANY evidence whatsoever. Every response feels like a scripted template designed to shut people down instead of actually investigating appeals.
This is the message I received from Game Master Rairistidru:
>“Recent activity on this account has shown actions deemed inappropriate for Overwatch. This includes, but is not limited to, non-participation, going AFK repeatedly, inappropriate Custom Game names, using third party programs, queuing with accounts that have been flagged for cheating, and other behavior which negatively impacts your fellow players’ experience.”
How does someone who started playing 1–2 weeks ago suddenly get hit with a permanent closure for practically every category of misconduct imaginable?
And honestly, at this point I have to ask: are actual people even reviewing these tickets anymore, or is everything just AI-generated copy-paste responses? Because every reply feels identical and completely ignores what I’m actually saying in my appeals.
It genuinely feels like nobody is reading anything and they just keep recycling the same accusations while refusing to explain or provide proof.
I’m posting this because I want to know if anyone else has dealt with false bans like this from blizzard and whether there’s any way to get an actual human review instead of automated responses.
