I’m currently a 2nd year IT student (incoming 3rd year), and I have a chance to get a voucher for the CCNA after this semester if I do well in my networking subjects.
The thing is, I’m also a working student, and I had to delay 2 major subjects this year. Because of that, I might end up finishing college about 2–2.5 years later than expected.
Now I’m not sure if I should take the CCNA as soon as I get the voucher. I know the certification is only valid for 3 years, and I’m worried that by the time I graduate, I might not be able to use it effectively or it might already be close to expiring.
Would it still be worth taking CCNA early, or should I wait until I’m closer to graduating?
