I've been wanting to write a romance story with a hospital setting (leaning on a character(/s) having an illness or condition) for a while now, but I am absolutely stumped on creating an actual plot. I'm having a block in making up something unique. Do you guys have any plot recommendations in writing one?

edit: For example, let's say I'm sort of interested in writing about a romance tragedy with a patient diagnosed with Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy (Broken Heart Syndrome), but it isn't a condition that's overly fatal and isn't exactly uncurable---how do you guys think the plot would go?
