Been painting for over 30 years and still get mad about BS blend times. Even after the 5 largest paint manufacturers did a fairly recent study and all determined a blend panel actually takes approximately 38% longer to do than a full paint panel and non of the estimating systems will update to reflect that. YES CCC did make it where u can manually change blend times now but sure someone got a pretty good sum of money from insurance companies to not actually change it. Haha. Cause I work for a large DRP shop and all out insurance companies just say "nah we dont recognize that study" haha of course they dont because it didnt go to their benefit.
