Is it ethical to sabotage my company? (AI replacement)

I work for a large company and have been tasked with data collection / organization for a new AI initiative. The goal is to collect this data to feed to an AI to “improve” our workflows, but I’m scared that my project will lead to the loss of my job and countless others too. If I outright refuse they’ll just find someone else to do it. Alternatively I believe I can subtly sabotage the data rendering it far less useful to the AI. My impact could have a potentially huge impact. I could save countless jobs from getting needlessly fired in the short term. And in the long run when the AI bubble pops I’ll have actually done my company and the shareholders a service. On the other hand if i get caught it would likely cost me my job. It feels like a real life trolly problem where my self sacrifice may be the best and most ethical solution. Thoughts?

Should I sabotage my job? (AI replacement)

I work for a major Fortune 500 company and have been tasked with data collection / organization for a new AI initiative. I’ve worked for this company for years but previously did more normal data analysis tasks. I’m scared that my project will lead to the loss of my job and countless others too. If I outright refuse they’ll just find someone else to do it. But since I’m in control now I think I can subtly sabotage the data rendering the AI useless. I could save countless jobs. If the AI bubble pops then it may actually be for the best for the company too. So, should I do it?
