Fixable myself?

I know this is more of a general car/body question but I was dinked while parked, didn’t see it happen, didn’t get left a note, don’t have collision coverage.

Is this fixable on my own even if not absolutely perfect? Maybe I can pop it out from the inside or is it not that simple?

Thoughts?

Anyone think these would look solid on an e90 sedan?

id have to get an adapter for the studs since they aren’t 5x120 but I think after that they might look pretty clean, affordable too

Broken EAC, can I ignore it?

Hi guys, replacing rad on my n51, was hoping I could carefully move old EAC sensor to my new radiator that has the bracket for it but alas my probe/wires broke and I don’t have a new sensor.

Can I install the rad without the sensor? I’m assuming I’ll get a code that I can maybe clear out but aside from that will my car be good to run?

Looking for new wheels soon for my sedan in Monaco blue, any suggestions?

Going for 18” either 8.5square or 8.5x9.5 staggered unless there’s another opinion, oem+ and silver (~$1.1k budget new or used)

Some styles I’m considering/like:
Apex ec7
Apex arc8
Apex vs5
BBS lm (reps)
Style 359m (19” :/ )
Style 351
BMW M parallel stars

I actually really like my stock rims, I just want something that fills in better I believe these are 16”

Ok here we go:

20, halfway through college

Have a car that works, I just love the manual z3s and convertible just in time for summer. I’d keep both sell one after school or later maybe.

I’m not asking if this is the smartest decision and best if I want to save, I know it’s not. Just should I enjoy these youthful years before it’s too late? Would this car be worth the short term enjoyment for me or should I be saving hard all the time always?

Some facts:

My first car is also a bmw, and I have been learning to do my own maintenance so that saves any costs. This car only has 70k miles.

I work full time and pay rent.

I have a savings of $5k, and another $8k in investments I add to to weekly. Another couple thousand in the bank.

Buying this car will not affect any of my progress and future saving, I’m getting a tax return for just over $5k in a week or so that’ll cover the full cost of the car and leave me some to save.

I do have loans (~8k not accruing interest) I feel comfortable waiting till after school to pay. So I feel confident this purchase wouldn’t ruin me financially.

Admittedly not the absolute smartest decision to make, but worth the lessons to be learned? Perhaps…? This is one of my dream cars recently so in my mind it’s worth it.

Hello! I found a couple Z3 listings and I’ve really been craving a manual roadster I think these cars seem super fun and look so good. I know these are the base 4 cylinders but I’ve got lots of fun mountain roads nearby and honestly the low hp seems like a blast paired with the stick.

I’ve had my e90 328i (which I love) for almost a year and have been learning to do maintenance on it so I’m hoping some of that can carry over here if necessary. How’re these cars to work on? What are the major issues around this age/mileage? Are they reliable if taken care of?

These seem like really fair prices considering the mileage and the MT. Or would anyone disagree?

Anything I should look out for? Would you guys recommend me checking these out?

Thanks in advance !

I’m sorry for even considering this, but I feel like some sleek OEM+ type gloss black lips wouldn’t look bad with my Monaco blue sedan.

Something for the bumper and side skirts and maybe a small trunk lip. Maybe a subtle diffuser if it exists… easy to bolt on

Any recommendations?!

(Base 328i sedan 😖)
