7700 XT 12GB or 9060 XT 16GB?

I'm currently in the process of finding parts to build for my new pc and I'm having a hard time deciding between the 7700 XT 12GB and 9060 XT 16GB. I know both cards are great in price-to-performance but is it worth spending a little extra for a newer card with 4 more GB of VRAM? Here are the specs for the rest of my build:

CPU: Intel Core i5-13400F 2.5 GHz 10-Core Processor

CPU Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE 66.17 CFM CPU Cooler

Motherboard: MSI B760 GAMING PLUS WIFI DDR4 ATX LGA1700 Motherboard

Storage: WD_Black SN770 1TB NVMe SSD

Case: Fractal Design Pop Air ATX Mid Tower Case

Power Supply: MSI MAG A650GL Modular ATX PSU - 650 W

Monitor: AOC Q27G42XE Quad HD 27" IPS LCD Gaming Monitor

Cable: Amazon Basics DisplayPort 1.4 Cable

Case Fans: ARCTIC P12 (x2)

This build is still a work in progress and my budget is around £1000 (~$1360). I'm planning to have this built by the end of the year. I'm welcome to any tips or changes to this build as I haven't build a pc since like 2021.
