I’d like to suggest a new playable character concept for Elden Ring Nightreign.

The idea is a close-range “brawler” character who uses fists as a unique, unlootable weapon type. This character would focus on high poise damage, stagger potential, and aggressive melee combat instead of traditional weapons.

For the weapon’s Ash of War, I suggest a grappling move similar in function to Lifesteal Fist from Elden Ring. The move would only work on humanoid enemies of similar size and would allow the character to grab the target and perform a powerful slam or wrestling-style attack. Unlike Lifesteal Fist, it would not restore health, but instead deal high damage and posture damage. The move would fail against larger enemies or bosses.

One ability could be a powerful shout that pushes enemies away, knocking down smaller enemies and staggering larger ones, while also granting a temporary damage boost.

For the ultimate ability, the character could leap onto enemies and deliver a rapid series of punches. Against humanoid enemies, this would function as a grab and pummel attack. Against larger enemies, the character would leap upward and latch onto the enemy’s upper body or back, striking their head repeatedly before finishing with a heavy blow as they jump off.

The character would be balanced by having very short range and requiring close positioning, but would remain effective against all enemy types through standard attacks and abilities.

I believe this type of character would add a unique and distinct playstyle that fits well within the game’s mechanics and style.
