UGreen DXP4800 Pro - SSD card / PCIe rating question

On UGreen's website for the DXP4800 Pro (which I just bought), they advise: "Given the compatibility and power consumption issues of PCIe 4.0, it is not recommended to install (M.2) SSDs with high power PCIe 4.0."

They then go on to recommend mostly M.2 SSDs that are rated as PCIe 4.0/Gen 4 (or even 5.0). Maybe there were previous Gen 3 versions of these SSDs? Surely, they would have had different numerical naming. Also, they list a WD Blue SSD, which is definitely not suggested for RAID devices.

I want to buy a couple 1TB SSDs and am baffled by this. My computer knowledge isn't super deep, but this is confounding info on a really basic level.

Hoping someone can guide me with this dilemma.
