I was chatting with the AI bot and it didn’t know either how this number was calculated, so I figured I’d come here to ask. How does Bevel calculating the sleeping resting heart rate? The little note says it measures your average heartbeats per minute while completely at rest. Does this mean the whole Apple sleep cycle, or just parts of it? Looking at the little graph they supply it feels like they include all phases of sleep including “awake”, but wanted to confirm. For example I wake up and am thirsty, does the trip down to the kitchen for a drink of water get included in my average?

It feels like it does…?
