Hi everyone. We’re in the process of deciding if it would make sense to give birth in Italy to ensure our baby gets “full” citizenship as with the new law they would be eligible only by benefit of the law. We’re both Italian citizens, JS and JM, living in Europe already, so logistics around going to Italy for 2-3 months are not that complicated. We are also fine paying out of pocket. We’d like to consult a lawyer to understand what documents we’d need to get a passport for the baby once they’re born. Any recommendations for lawyers? Better if in Milan area, as that’s where we’re looking at hospitals. thanks!
