So I started my keto journey on March 16th. I’m a “petite” woman (157cm) and my starting weight was 60,5kg. During the 7 weeks on this diet my weight has been fluctuating around 59kg. Until two years ago I never weighed more than 55kg, but ever since I just can’t seem to get back to my “old” weight. A good friend of mine who had lost 15kg on keto diet recommended this to me. Week 1 was difficult, but after I got through the “keto flu” I actually started enjoying the diet. I wasn’t hungry as much and I started eating more vegetables. Where I’m from bread and potatoes are quite central in our diets. So it’s been “exciting” finding alternatives and seeing I’m good without them and the pasta I love so dearly. However, my weight isn’t going down as quickly and as of last week I feel like I’m experiencing “keto flu” again. Not to mention I’m struggling with constipation and the scale just doesn’t go below 59kg. Almost two months in I’ve “only” lost +/- 1,5kg. Is this diet not for me? Am I expecting too much? Should I start intermittent fasting for the diet to be more efficient?
