I ordered small dubia roaches from dubia.com to feed my leopard gecko and now several of them are dead. I removed like 10 of them but there are several more carcasses stuck inside egg crates. There were very few dead roaches when we got them on Monday but now i'm kind of nervous.

I am feeding then Dubia Diet from dubia.com along with water cystals and some carrot. What could be the cause? Stress from shipping?

My other question is, do y'all think the colony is unsafe to feed atp? There are many roaches still kicking but I don't want to spread disease to my lizard.

EDIT: It's not mold from carrots. My roommate told me they replaced the carrots last night. So it shouldn't be mold.
