Just found this sub! I recently got my certification in NJ and I’m starting with a half day next week at an elementary school. I’m so nervous, just looking for any and all advice on how to handle managing the room, disciplining or kids being wild, etc? I’ve never taught or managed a classroom or group of kids - aside from my own and he’s 3 so I basically am his god. I also haven’t worked since he was born so I’m coming off a 3 year hiatus. But I’ve never been responsible for other older kids so I’m feeling really nervous!
