Update: got it open!! Thank you all for your suggestions - I'll have a bunch of ideas if it happens again. This community is so awesome! (I put a picture with the ink swatch below in the comments)

Was very excited to swatch my new ink, but I cannot open it!! Used the jar opener portion of kitchen scissors, ran it under hot water - you can see some ink came out on that paper towel after that, but the lid is more stubborn than I am, and that's saying something. Any ideas, brilliant redditors?

Elle is laying on my Titanic Lego instruction book, and has her tail curled so beautifully on my notebook. So no working on my hobbies for me, for now!

If you look closely, you can see that I have my slippers on a box under the desk, because foam is her favorite thing to chew on, and I have to put them out of the way.
