Do any of your dogs only eat once a day?

My dog is not a fan of breakfast or even lunch - and it's not the food. I've tried giving him just dry, just wet, mixing it, putting treats on top, different times of day. He's just not a fan.

However come 7:30/8pm, he'll eat everything I put out.

Is anyone else's dog a once a day eater? I'm a first time dog owner so I don't know what's normal 😅

I live in Philadelphia and I've found two of these in my bedroom over the last two days. This one was walking across my headboard. I have a dog (who is treated for ticks) and three cats (who are not - but now I'm going to!!)

Are these ticks?

Sorry this was the best photo I could take as it was tiny - maybe .5cm in size and I shone a flashlight on it so I could see it better.

EDIT: Thank you everyone! I'm a first time dog owner and I don't know what's an over reaction. I took him to my local emergency vet and they took care of him in 10mins and he is MUCH happier! Thank you so much for the non judgemental help!!

It's clearly very uncomfortable for him. When he was at the vet it had a crack and I had asked her what to do, she had said we just keep trimming as much as we can, but now it's broken at the quick, and will bleed and it's obviously causing discomfort.

I have quik stop and I use it. Should I take him to a vet to have it removed or should I just cut it and use quik stop? I don't want him in pain.

Thank you!!

It's all I've been eating lately and I'm obsessed with Street Side (as they're close to me) and Ba Le of course. I had QT and it was horrendous.

Give me your recommendations - I only eat vegetarian sandwiches as a heads up.
