I have UML.
I've downloaded the SP Football Life commentary.
I can't find a way to change to the downloaded commentary in the UML version of the game.
I was playing with SP Football Life, really enjoying it.
Installed UML and started a Master League and my god this team feels awful. Every single one of them turns like a boat, dribbles so slow, can't take a decent first touch.
They're similar rated (70ish) to the players in teams I'm up against, but seem like complete donkeys.
Just got off a district line tube from Richmond before it left, as something really odd was going on.
Sat there on the tube train waiting to go, it's end of the line and the train is pretty empty as it was about 10 mins before the time it was due to leave.
Suddenly about 10 men got on, quite a wide range of ages and all in 'casual' suits, work wear kind of stuff. Youngest one looked barely older than 16 and I'd say oldest was 40+. Every single one of them had an ear piece in, running up the back of their shirt and into their left ear. They were all carrying a small bag. They were definitely not English, they looked Eastern European or maybe Italian.
None of them sat next to each other. They spread across the train. They were clearly on edge for some reason, standing up and sitting back down, glancing around etc.
My first thought was British transport police but one of them was so young I thought it couldn't be. They were also all basically wearing the same type of clothes, which didn't really blend in at all.
It was all very weird. No one else seemed to notice but I hopped off the train just in case as it was a bit unsettling.
Texted BTP on the off chance it was something worth worrying about.
I've been in the CS for about 10 years, started as an HEO and now been a G7 for the last 5 years.
HEO to G7 the progression and salary reward was obvious.
Now im on £64,995 as a G7. In my department, the bottom of the G6 band is £67,250.
That appears to be the absolute worst trade off I could possible make. Not even a £2.5k salary jump for a huge amount more responsibility... What's that about?
