I did IUI so this baby was absolutely planned, but somehow it didn't really sink in until I was actually pregnant how close their birthday will be to Christmas. My wife's birthday is within a few days of Christmas and my step-son's is New Years Day, so our family is no stranger to trying to make holiday birthdays still special. I am just really hoping for not Christmas Eve or Christmas Day so that doesn't "take away" from my step-kids' Christmas. Although I suppose I could look at it as if I am giving my family a very "big" Christmas gift!
Has anyone else given thought to the possibility of a Christmas Day (or other important winter holiday) baby? Do you think there are any silver linings to a holiday birth/birthday?
