This happened many years ago but still haunts me, my sister, and other sister. (I’m not using their real names). I was six, Penny was seven, and Kim was 12. We’re all fostered, and Betty (Former foster Mother) took care of us all as infants, as we grew up Betty divorced our favourite foster dad: Ben, he was kind to us and never made us feel bad. The reason they divorced was because Betty was cheating with a guy named Gerald. They got married fairly quickly. When we met Gerald he Seemed nice. But he took a liking to Kim, a pedophile. He did weird stuff. He also did stuff to me and penny. But we both were little and didn’t have much of an understanding. Kim spoke to a school teacher about this and we all were separated from that house. Kim opened a case and got Gerald to court, betty told me that Gerald went through many different tests and he passed. Lawyers told Kim that she was making it all up because Ben had left and she missed him. Betty and Gerald paid Kim to keep her shut, apparently. And now I and Penny want to help Kim out because of what Gerald did. I think about it often but I’m not sure how to get this help. I talked to other adults about this and they didn’t seem to actually hear me. I’m in Canada, and I don’t understand how this stuff works. I want to open this case back up.
