I’m replacing a ptac and the receptacle is 240v / 20a but the breaker is only 15amps. (I’m in a condo and the unit I’m swapping out is gas powered and the new unit is electric if that matters.) Is that unusual? Do I need to upgrade the wire or is it safe to say this receptacle means the wire is the correct gage? I’ll hire a pro no matter what, for electric and a plumber to cap the gas, I’m just trying to understand what’s needed. Here’s a picture of the receptacle. thank you!
