My grandmother's name was Mary. She passed away a few years ago. We like traditional/classic names, but is this too old?
Do you think my dad (his mom) will find it awkward? They had a strong relationship.
My wife has actually been the one pushing for it, so it's not just me pushing for a family name. I was quite close to her when I was little too. My wife said she likes the idea of naming our daughter after a woman so "strong and badass"
