Hello brothers. My friend has also been diagnosed with stage 1B seminoma. Tumor size is 4.8 cm + LVI. There is no mention of rete testis in the pathology report. He is in a very bad state and doesn’t know what to do—whether to choose surveillance or 1 dose of carboplatin. I have been following posts in this group for a long time, and in my opinion most stage 1 seminoma patients experience relapse, even though it is said that 80% are cured with orchiectomy alone—but reality seems different. The reality is that most of them relapse.
