Hi, I was recently diagnosed (privately) and have sent the report to my GP and they have confirmed that they have recieved it. I have phoned them several times to ask whether or not they accept private but only spoken to reception and they keep saying they will ask the GPs and be in touch but never heard from them. I finally called yesterday to confirm if they had recieved the report which they hadn't so sent it in and they said they've got it on my record and will send on to clinicans for info. I'm in rural Scotland, so in an area where I can normally get a GP appointment on the day I phone or the day after so it's not like it's crazy waiting times like in some parts of the country.. Does anyone know how long is reasonable to wait before chasing it up again? I just want to know if they accept it and can help me or not but don't want to be annoying and phone every day but I'm really struggeling to cope so wanting an answer and at least reception seemed to think it was a possibility first time, which I wasn't expecting.
