Is it just me, or do you also feel like all the focus is always on consumable products like eyeshadow palettes, blushes and cushion compacts, and never on the tools you actually use to achieve the final results?

I hardly ever see reviews of brushes and other tools. I know, of course, you don’t buy them as often as palettes, but there are hardly any launches or hauls shared about them either.

I find that a bit of a shame, especially as even palettes perform very differently depending on the tools you use. It also makes it quite difficult to choose which brushes to buy.

I’m currently looking for new eyeshadow brushes and I can’t seem to find much about Jung Seam Moon or Koh Gen Do; there isn’t even that much information on Piccasso. 🥲
